Tuggerah Lake and Budgewoi Lake are two interconnected lakes on the Central Coast of NSW. They are divided by two narrow strips of land which cut out from the eastern and western shores, so there is a narrow channel which allows the interchange of waters between the two lakes.

This gap is spanned by Wallarah Point Bridge with Gorokan on the western side of the bridge and Toukley on the eastern side.

Toukley is 107 km north of Sydney via the Newcastle Freeway.

Toukley was once a small fishing village and many of the residents, now adults, used to visit during the holidays when they were children.
